Painting with Gouache – (for adults)
6 Wednesday Mornings | 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | October 22, 29, November 5, 12, 19, December 3
Instructor: Kim Weineck
Gouache is opaque watercolor and it’s having a moment in the art world right now. We are going to explore all that this flexible and forgiving medium has to offer. In this class we will complete a series of paintings of the same subject as well as studies in color, the landscape, and still life. Work will be completed from life and from photographs. Class time will fly by and you’ll be impressed with what you’ve been able to accomplish. When the 6-week session is over, you’ll perhaps consider bringing your paints with you everywhere to get in a quick painting of something that catches your eye. It’s a lot of fun.
