Beginners Digital Art Class (For students in grades 4-7)
Monday, July 27 – Friday, July 31 (9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)
Instructor: Kurt Jackson
Children will learn basic digital photography skills and techniques. We will take indoor and outdoor photos with a thematic approach, and then explore concepts in digital imaging and color. Students should come with a digital camera, if one is unavailable the gallery may be able to provide one, please contact the instructor. Children will go home with a variety of edited photos for framing. If your child has access to a portable computer (e.g. laptop/chromebook/iPad) please come to class with one; this is not required, but would allow them the ability to download images and edit them to their own device.
Kurt Jackson is a professional artist and storyteller and currently teaches at the Medfield After School Program.
Classes are held in the gallery, 456A Main St., Medfield, MA.
