A collage is a creative arrangement of materials. Materials can range from paper to photographs to fabric. Using tissue paper, students created colorful arrangements and then covered their collages with a piece of construction paper with cut out shapes mimicking a “stained glass” look. Ainsley embraces the color creation in her choices of tissue paper colors to collage. What really gives the artwork “personality” are the shapes Ainsley cut out from the construction paper.
