Beginners Digital Art Class (For students in grades 4-7)
Monday, July 28 – Friday, August 1 (9:30 – 12:00)
Instructor: Kurt Jackson
Children will learn basic digital photography skills and techniques. We will take indoor and outdoor photos with a thematic approach, and then explore concepts in digital imaging and color. Students should come with a digital camera, if one is unavailable the gallery may be able to provide one, please contact the instructor. Children will go home with a variety of edited photos for framing. If your child has access to a pc or mac, (i.e. laptop/chromebook/iPad) please come to class with one. This is certainly not required but this way they will have the ability to download images and edit them to their own device.
Kurt Jackson is a professional artist and storyteller and currently teaches at the Medfield After School Program
Classes are held in the gallery, 456A Main St., Medfield, MA.
