This exhibit will feature a selection of more than fifty paintings and woodcuts by artist Jason Berger. A gifted and prolific artist who painted with integrity and knowledge of the past, who lived fully in the present and was excited about the future. Born and raised in Boston his approach was direct, his vision clear. There is a rhythm to his life’s work. His paintings are full of structural elegance with the results being a positive and optimistic expression. Renowned for his humor, love of jazz, and his upbeat approach to painting, his work expresses the joy of life and love of place.
