The Victrola Experience: A Phonograph Concert

Event Information: Step into the Zullo Gallery time machine with master engineer, musician and discographer Johnny Dalton, as he blends the sounds of 100+ year-old Victrola records with live acoustic music by 21st century performers.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and first Victrola set starts soon after; live music begins at 7 p.m.

The event takes place in the historic Main Street Medfield building that once housed the G.A.R Hall, a gathering spot for Civil War veterans.

About the Performers:

Johnny Dalton — Owner/founder of Kung Pow! Recording & Mastering, Johnny is a Boston Music Award-winning engineer and musician, with special expertise in the history of musical production and recording, and a passion for understanding how it has influenced today’s sounds.

Cara Brindisi — The singer/songwriter made a big splash as a member of Gwen Stefani’s team on Season 22 of NBC’s “The Voice.” The Berklee College of Music grad brings forth various musical genres with her otherworldly vocals.

Sweet Petunia — Mairead Guy and Maddy Simpson comprise this duo whose music has roots in folk and bluegrass, and whose voices blend seamlessly as a result of years together since first meeting at Berklee College of Music.

Members of award-winning Medfield High School SoundWaves will also perform!
