Dan Allenby

Dan is an author, speaker, and consultant who has worked with educational institutions and other nonprofits for more than 25 years to improve their fundraising results. An internationally-recognized expert on annual giving, he is the recipient of CASE’s prestigious “Crystal Apple” award for teaching excellence. His book Ideas for Annual Giving offers designs for helping organizations increase their levels of sustainable philanthropic support. Dan served as the assistant vice president for annual giving at Boston University during its $1 billion capital campaign, and previously led fundraising and marketing programs at Tufts University, Georgetown University, and the National Geographic Society. He served on the faculty for CASE’s Summer Institute in Educational Fundraising, and chaired its Senior Annual Giving Professionals Conference and Annual Giving Workshop for five collective terms. Dan holds a B.A. in History from James Madison University and a M.B.A. from Boston College. Dan lives with his wife and four children outside of Boston, MA. In his spare time he is an active singer/songwriter, serves as a board member of the Zullo Art Gallery, plays tennis, and enjoys getting away to the beaches of Cape Cod.

Kurt Jackson

Kurt Jackson studied Art at Dean Jr. College and went on to study theater at Northeastern University. He has been employed at Medfield Afterschool Program for over 25 years and has been an art teacher at the Zullo Gallery for more than 20 years. Kurt is also a children’s storyteller as well as a professional photographer. Kurt has resided in Medfield for the last seven years with his wife Meghan and their two daughters. He is thrilled to be part of the Medfield community and working with kids through the after school program and at the gallery which have provided so many opportunities to teach, learn and cultivate friendships and amazing experiences. He is looking forward to this new adventure as a Zullo Gallery board member.

Dave Yuknat spent 20+ years working in product development & user experience design for local corporations Lycos, Upromise and Vistaprint. In 2020 Dave started Old Dog Media, LLC to focus on freelance website development and music production. He maintains an active role with The Grayce B. Kerr Fund, a family philanthropy based out of Easton, MD. In addition to his work with Zullo Gallery, Dave is a Member of the Corporation at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and a board member with the Dover Land Conservation Trust. Dave and his family live in Dover, MA.
