Students were asked to ‘build’ self portraits in Adobe’s Illustrator vector drawing program. They were given. list of items to include, such as a museum label, wall texture, and ornate frame. Matthew’s work is not only a highly skilled use of the tools, but a rich portrait of the artist’s potential, his creativity, dreams and hopes for the future.
