Unique Impressions VII
July 9, 2022 - August 20, 2022
The Monotype Guild of New England is a national nonprofit with over 200 members representing all six New England states as well as seven outside of New England. For the benefit of the public and its members, the guild has been funding programs, workshops and exhibitions throughout its thirty year history. Its 100 exhibitions, which have been juried, curated and open, aid in revealing the sheer variety of traditional techniques used in monoprinting, as well as newly developed methods.
From July 9th to August 20th, the Monotype Guild of New England will have works featured in the Zullo Gallery in an exhibition called Unique Impressions VII. The exhibition is not juried and includes sixty submissions. Individually, the works feature themes ranging from vegetal and floral motifs, animals, landscapes, architecture, political commentary and even pensive cats. But together, they create a bright, playful celebration of life echoing the vibrant color and beauty of the summer season in New England. Don’t miss the artist reception on Thursday, July 14th from 6 to 8pm at the Zullo Gallery!
